STRAWBERRY FROZEN YOGURT

  • 2 cups (approximately 475 ml) of frozen strawberries
  • 1 1/2 cups (approximately 355 ml) of Greek yogurt (full-fat or low-fat, as per preference)
  • 1/2 cup (approximately 120 ml) of honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)
  • Fresh strawberries and mint leaves for garnish (optional)
  1. Ensure that the strawberries are frozen. You can use store-bought frozen strawberries or freeze fresh strawberries in advance. Remove any stems and hull the strawberries if needed.
  2. In a blender or food processor, add the frozen strawberries, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract (if using).Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure even blending.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup if desired. Blend again briefly to incorporate any additional sweetener.
  4. Transfer the strawberry yogurt mixture to an airtight container. Cover and place it in the freezer for at least 3-4 hours, or until the frozen yogurt is firm.
